The famous ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ is situated at the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula. Gibraltar is a British Crown Colony. It is self-governing in all areas except for its defence, internal security, foreign affairs and its financial stability. Gibraltar is a member of the EU (but exempt from the free movement of goods and the Schengen Agreement), the OECD, and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). Gibraltar has a strong and growing economy.
