Supporting charities
throughout the year
At Turicum Private Bank, charitable giving is part of who we are. Our Charity Committee runs regular fundraising events throughout the year in support of GBC Open Day and the Turicum Educational Trust, alongside Bank donations to a wide range of community initiatives. These highlights reflect what we have supported over the past year and our ongoing commitment to meaningful and sustained impact.
GBC Open Day – Christmas donation
December 2025
In place of Christmas cards and gifts, Turicum Private Bank donated £4,000 to GBC Open Day, supporting a range of local charities. This contribution reflects the collective efforts of our Charity Committee and colleagues throughout the year, who organised a variety of fundraising initiatives in support of our community.
Christmas Jumper Day – supporting Save the Children

Turicum proudly took part in Christmas Jumper Day in support of Save the Children. Colleagues embraced the festive spirit to help raise funds for children around the world, demonstrating how small gestures can help make a lasting impact.
Christmas giving – supporting Christian Blind Mission, CARE and Childline Gibraltar
December 2025
As part of our sustainable giving initiative, Turicum Private Bank has donated £2,500 each to Christian Blind Mission, CARE, and Childline Gibraltar in place of Christmas cards and gifts. These meaningful contributions support vital causes across global and local communities. Christian Blind Mission and CARE work internationally to improve lives through eye health, inclusion, and community empowerment, while our donation to Childline Gibraltar contributes to their Christmas Appeal, helping provide care and resources for children facing challenges during the festive season.

Christmas giving – supporting Gibraltar Red Cross
December 2025
Turicum Private Bank donated £2,500 to the Gibraltar Red Cross as part of our sustainable giving initiative. This contribution supported the wrapping and distribution of 600 gifts to Elderly Residential Services, Women In Need, and other local organisations, helping to spread festive cheer across the community.
Pink Day – for Breast Cancer Support Gibraltar
October 2025
Turicum took part in Pink Day, and our Charity Committee prepared a selection of homemade soups for staff, with all funds raised directed to Breast Cancer Support Gibraltar and their vital work within the community.
Green Day – supporting GibSams
September 2025
We wore green, enjoyed breakfast rolls and made donations in support of GibSams on Green Friday. Our colleagues came together to share food, talk and show support for the local mental health charity.
Free the Knee 2025 - supporting Men’s Health
August 2025
Turicum Private Bank joined the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and the wider financial community for Free the Knee 2025, an initiative supporting Prostate Cancer Gibraltar. The campaign encourages participants to wear shorts, skirts and dresses to work to raise awareness of prostate cancer and men’s health. You can donate to the local charity here.
Med Steps 5 Challenge – supporting Cancer Relief Gibraltar
May 2025
Ten colleagues from Turicum Private Bank took part in the Med Steps 5 Challenge, raising funds for Cancer Relief Gibraltar. The record-breaking event saw more than 700 participants climb the Med Steps between three and five times, all in support of this vital local charity. With clear skies, music at Jews’ Gate, and stunning views across the Strait, the day combined physical challenge with a strong sense of community. Thank you to everyone who supported our team and helped raise funds for a cause that continues to make a meaningful difference.
Disaster relief – supporting Valencia flood recovery
December 2024
Turicum donated £2,500 to the Order of Malta to support disaster relief efforts in Valencia following severe flooding. This donation, part of our sustainable giving initiative, is helping provide essential appliances and support to families as they rebuild their homes and lives.
Chestertons Big Breakfast – supporting GBC Open Day
December 2024
Turicum Private Bank was delighted to support Chestertons Gibraltar’s Big Breakfast fundraiser for GBC Open Day. Chestertons delivered 30 breakfast rolls to our offices, with proceeds going towards local charities supported by the Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation’s annual appeal.
Movember – supporting Prostate Cancer Gibraltar
November 2024
Turicum Private Bank proudly supported Movember, raising over £1,200 for Prostate Cancer Gibraltar. Throughout November, colleagues grew moustaches to raise awareness of men’s health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. Thank you to everyone who supported our efforts to make a positive difference.
Five-a-side football tournament – supporting GBC Open Day
October 2024
Team Turicum took part in the Peter J Isola Foundation annual five-a-side football tournament, joining 20 other teams to help raise £4,500 for GBC Open Day and the local charities it supports. A great day of teamwork, sport, and community spirit in support of a fantastic cause.
Supporting inclusive communication – Special Needs Action Group (SNAG)
October 2024
Turicum Private Bank, through the Turicum Educational Trust, contributed £2,550 to the Supported Needs Action Group (SNAG). The donation funded iPads with specialist communication software for the GHA’s Speech Therapy Department, helping non-speaking children to express themselves and enhancing their learning and development.
Deloitte corporate challenge – supporting GBC Open Day
September 2024
Our Turicum team took part in Deloitte’s Corporate Challenge, joining over 20 local businesses to raise funds for GBC Open Day and the many local charities it supports. The event brought together teamwork, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to giving back to the Gibraltar community.
