Turicum Private Bank has donated £5,000 to the Gibraltar Scouts as part of our Corporate Responsibility towards the local community. We are pleased to help Gibraltar’s largest co-educational organisation which supports young people’s personal development and helps them to build up important skills for life through unique experiences in nature.
In a continued effort to strengthen Turicum’s Corporate Responsibility, the Bank is delighted to support a further charitable institution of the local community, SNAG (Special Needs Action Group), with a donation of GBP 5,000.
In an effort to strengthen our Corporate Responsibility, Turicum wishes to increase its social support for the local community, in particular for charitable institutions. The Bank therefore is incredibly grateful to support ‘Change Your Energy, Change Your Life’ with a donation of GBP 5,000.
Turicum Private Bank donated £3,500 to the Gibraltar Environmental Safety Group to finance T-shirts which were used for the ‘Clean up the World’ campaign in Gibraltar. On 17th and 18th September close to 500 volunteers in 28 teams helped remove 13 truckloads of waste from 20 plus sites across Gibraltar. Turicum Private Bank has donated £2,000 towards the PossAbilities summer camps for children with disabilities and supported educational needs. The Bank is delighted and proud to support this incredible initiative which is the first time that Gibraltar has seen disability support for all children with disabilities throughout the whole of the summer period.

The Turicum Educational Trust Fund agreed to donate the sum of £5,000 towards the new Special Needs facility being set up by the Charity PossAbilities on the site of the old St Martin’s school. The donation will go towards the financing of the ‘Turicum Private Bank Seminar Room’.

The Bank’s Charity Committee organised a pancake day. Members of staff were invited to the Bank’s Boardroom were a delicious spread of pancakes and toppings were on offer. Donations were made by all members of staff participating at this event. All proceeds were used to buy essential items and donated to the Ukraine Appeal fund.

In an effort to assist the local community in meeting the challenges of the covid pandemic, particularly in relation to Education, the Turicum Educational Trust donated 25 iPads to the Gibraltar Department of Education. This equipment will help improve Gibraltar’s remote learning capacity in times of lockdown.
