Turicum has appointed Rachel Sexton as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the bank’s Risk Committee, following approval by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Rachel brings extensive international experience in audit, compliance, risk, regulation and corporate governance. She has held senior partner roles with major international professional services firms, including EY LLP and Ashurst LLP in the UK, as well as senior positions with leading consulting firms across the UK, United States and Europe.

Throughout her career, Rachel has advised financial institutions and other regulated organisations on complex matters relating to governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, financial crime and internal control frameworks. She also brings significant experience as a non-executive director.

Her appointment further strengthens the board’s independent oversight and its expertise in risk management, regulation and governance. These disciplines remain central to Turicum’s long-term approach as an independent, family-owned private bank and wealth management firm.

Rachel succeeds Franco Cassar, who previously served as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the bank’s Risk Committee from 2017 to 2025. Turicum thanks Franco for his valued contribution during his tenure.

The bank also extends its thanks to Jose Julio Pisharello, who served as interim Chair of the Risk Committee during the past 12 months and remains a member of the board.

Felix Hauber, Chairman of Turicum Private Bank, said: “Rachel’s extensive Big Four background, together with her experience across audit, risk, compliance and regulation, makes her particularly well suited to chair the bank’s Risk Committee. She brings a strong understanding of the governance and oversight responsibilities facing regulated financial institutions, and her independent perspective and international experience will be valuable additions to the board. We are very pleased to welcome her to Turicum.”

Rachel Sexton said: “I am pleased to join the board of Turicum Private Bank and to contribute to the continued development of its governance and risk oversight. Turicum’s focus on long-term relationships, disciplined stewardship and strong governance closely reflects my own professional values. I look forward to working with my fellow board members and supporting the bank’s long-term objectives.”

Rachel’s appointment took effect on 20 July 2026.
